Convertible Dress featuring Swak Designs
I teamed up with Swak Designs a couple weeks back to bring you a plus size summer lookbook. When I was choosing pieces, I came across the Eternity Convertible Dress. I wanted to write a separate post because this dress thoroughly intrigued me. The top of the dress can be tied in different ways to achieve several different silhouettes (convertible haha). This dress didn't disappoint. At first I was a little hesitant because of the length. I was expecting this to be completely too short because of the tying concept on the top. It turns out the length was perfect. I like dresses to fall at my knee and that is just where it lands. The fabric is knit jersey so it is perfect for this summer weather, but has enough weight to not blow around.
This dress would be a great staple in any woman's wardrobe, especially if you have a lot of upcoming events. It is so versatile that it would be a fresh look any time you wear it. My only negative on this dress is that it is difficult to tie by yourself. Although it can be done, it is definitely easier for someone to help because the straps are so long. I would also wear a tonal slip underneath just in case the straps move and your skin peeks through. For me, the more coverage the better!
Make sure to check this dress out on Swak Designs! I hope you guys enjoyed!
Just a couple examples of how you can tie this dress!
